To you my Dearest Aunt Net from Shelley
Created by Shelley 2 years ago
In one of the darkest moments of our lives, we are not able to find the appropriate words to explain the pain in our hearts. We have lost the matriarch and the rock of our families. But in these times, memories that we have can be the best medicine for the grief we share.
I remember my aunt for her drive for me regarding my education. When I was still a child attending the school Peters-field, she would have a white escort car parked, waiting for me and my friends to take us miles up a hill.
In fourth grade at the All-Age School, she saw potential In me, secondary school, business college, all of my achievements were because of her and I am eternally grateful to her for giving me that start.
I remember so vividly sitting around the dinning table during one of those lessons, I was told by her, “You have potential so you can make something of your future.” My educational prowess was achieved because of her and I will always give her the credit that is due.
The grace and calm that Aunt Net showed throughout her entire lifetime, the examples she set for me, not only as a niece but as a human being will never be forgotten. Our dear Aunt Net has created a life and legacy esteemed by man, especially family members.
Her unwavering strength, her fighting spirit, will always be apart of me. She has taught me everything which fuels me with energy that grants me the ability to overcome anything that I may face.
Thank you for your life. Thank you for your example, but most of all thank you for being willing to you to make us all better.
You departed on a journey free of cost, don’t worry about seat reservation, it is confirmed your good deeds will be your luggage. Humanity will be your passport. Love will be your visa.
Your memories are our keepsake with which we will never part. God has you in His keeping, we have you in our hearts.
You did your best to assist me, you did your best to love your family, you did your best to be strong, resilient, and caring. Rest well my dearest Aunt Net, and know that you were and still are, loved.
